What are lash extensions?

Eyelash extensions are individual synthetic eyelashes. They are attached one-by-one to each individual natural eyelash— not to the skin. This service is beauty enhancing and eliminates the need to wear mascara. It is a meticulous service which requires the skill and precision of a certified lash technician.

The application process for lash extensions normally takes anywhere from 1-2 hours. You will lay comfortably on a massage or facial table with your eyes closed. The Eyelash Technician will apply an under eye gel pad to cover your lower lashes . Then the extensions will be applied to each individual eyelash on a hair by hair basis. Maintenance lash refills are required every 2 to 3 weeks.

The benefits of eyelash extensions are many and include giving your lashes a longer, thicker, curlier and more natural appearance. Apart from this, they make the eyes seem more open and have an enlarged look thus drawing attention to them. For those with drooping eyelids, the longer eyelashes will make them look younger and fresher. No time for makeup or mascara? Lash extensions beautifully provide that Wake up & Go look.

Do eyelash extensions damage my natural eyelashes?

No. Each lash extension is adhered to one single natural lash, which will grow out naturally as your own lash matures. The eyelash adhesive is formulated to create a solid bond, specifically for human lashes. The adhesive dries very soft on the lashes, allowing the lashes to stay flexible and bouncy just like your own lashes.

The application process is pain-free and relaxing that most clients fall asleep during the procedure. However, improper application by an inexperienced eyelash technician can cause damage to your natural lashes. Only use a Certified Eyelash Extension Specialist.

What should you do before your appointment?

Remove all eye makeup and clean your lashes with mild oil-free cleanser. Do not use oil-based makeup remover to clean your lashes prior to the application. Do not put on any mascara prior to your appointment. Please do not wear contact lenses to your appointment.
